Audit success for both Cistermiser and Keraflo

Sister companies, Cistermiser and Keraflo, both pass the ISO 9001 Focus Visit Audit, and Keraflo the BRE Production Audit, all without any non-conformities.

Sister companies Cistermiser and Keraflo, the UK’s leading providers of commercial washroom water management and tank valve solutions, have recently passed their ISO 9001 Focus Visit Audits, with Keraflo also passing its BRE Production Audit, specifically for the FB Type Fire Sprinkler Valve, all without any non-conformities.

David Meacock, Technical Director comments: “We are delighted to pass both external audits without non-conformities because consistent quality is essential, especially when it comes to water management and safety. As offices and buildings open with the easing of lockdown, waterborne diseases like legionella are at higher risk of taking hold as people return to buildings that may have been dormant or under-utilised for months. The findings of these audits are a fantastic third-party endorsement that our customers can rely on solutions which are of consistently high quality and fit for purpose.

“These positive audit results came just before Keraflo’s successful launch of the UK’s first and only LPS1276 3.5.3 compliant Sprinkler Tank Fire Valve, increasing the company’s already strong and trustworthy product offering. Fully tested and certified to LPS-2083, suitable for tanks with or without raised valve chambers, the FB Type Fire Sprinkler Tank Valves are the first products available on the market to comply with the LPCB’s Loss Prevention Standard LPS 2083.”

Richard Braid, MD comments: “To be able to add this latest FB Type Fire Sprinkler Tank Valve to the Keraflo product offering is a huge moment for the company. This valve has been subject to significant levels of investment in recent months, and to have successfully passed the BRE testing and achieve LPS2083 is brilliant. It is the only compliant product currently available to the market and each of our 1″, 2″ and 3″ models have added-value performance and installation benefits engineered into them.

“The launch of the FB Type Fire Sprinkler valves is a further endorsement of Keraflo’s commitment to providing Standard compliant solutions that offer the same failsafe, long-life operation that is the hallmark standard in mechanical float valves for the UK.”
